did we go to the Falls? well of course we did. Well to be correct Sue stayed up top due to the rough terrain below so I went on my own with about ten other people in the group so I was looked after.
The trip was great except for the guide hurrying us along so it was a job to get anything and I was getting told off for lagging behind. I just shrugged my shoulders and carried on it the good old British way after all I was the paying customer.
The site is cut into the side of Lookout Mountain and was discovered in 1923 and in 1928 Leo Lambert found the cave and named it after his wife Ruby.
Here are a few I took on the rush around at 1600 ISO, 1/15 of a second at F2 with a 20mm 1.7 lens, taken in raw, handheld and processed on the computer back at the hotel. ( for the photographers out there).
This was the first and only one taken with the flash as the detail was getting lost.
And last but not least what we had all been waiting for......................
There, I hope it was worth the wait.
Ps, wait for it we did got and see a choo choo, probably the wrong one but what the heck its an old train.
Thanks for dropping by.
nite nite, Luv Mike XXX
Oooo your very best yet ... fabulous, fabulous shots. Beautiful but a bit spooky! Well done that man! That guide was a bit cheeky ... glad you ignored him !

OTL is impressed with the waterfall, he says that if you had the time, a tripod and a 10 stop ND filter, it would make that a seriously spooky picture!
ReplyDeleteBTW, what's the chicken like out there?
