Climb to High Peak, Phew!

Hi folks,

Left Congleton heading north east to Glossop, after a look around and some purchases from the Caravan shop and a tasty sausage sandwich we set off towards High Peaks but unfortunately went the wrong route and had to climb a very steep hill which made our Winnie gasp a bit, at the top of the peak this was the view.

To the right was Glossop.

in the distance at 600 meters you can see Manchester.

We arrived at Hayfield camp site and settled in for the night.  Lots of motor homes and tents but no caravans due to the access. Smashing site with all the amenities, luxury at last!

After dinner we walked through the trees towards the
town and a well earned pint.

The river followed us through the trees.

Heading back to the campsite, now was it left or right?

Finally waiting for us was this Bunny welcoming us back for the night.

Off to Buxton tomorrow, thanks for looking. Luv Mike
