Last week we went to see this National Trust Property.
This is a working farm with cattle sheep and pigs. It also has a garden with vegetables and flowers sold in the shop.
The castle is situated in the middle of a large estate with a large woods to the side.
The castle is steeped in histiory and was the home of Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson who moved there in 1932 and created the garden in the heart of the estate.
The gardens are beautiful and have a variety of walled sections.
One of the many fruit trees.
Last look at the garden and well worth a visit if you are in the area.
