Cherry Picnic, Rochester on Saturday

Hi folks,

Today was a day of sunshine and showers, we ducked the showers and went to this event in Rochester put on for the Macmillan Cancer Support to raise money for their charity.

The event was staged in the Vines next to the Cathedral.

As the title suggests, there were Cherries and Cream teas on sale to the public.

I loved the home made Bunting across the paths.

People relaxing in the sunshine.

As you do, we bought a punnet to try and very nice they where too.

Various Tom-bowler stalls where about, this lady really entered into the spirit of the event in her Cherry Apron.

Lilyis in the gardens.

Any ideas on this one?

It was a bit if a shame more people did not attend, it was publicised in the local paper.

Had to finish with a Rose.

Thanks for looking.

nite nite, luv Mike XX
