The De La Warr Pavilion Tour

Hi folks,

after the swinging Coach I thought you might like to see the rest of the building.

From the first floor balcony, the Bandstand and of course the sea.

Spiral staircase leading to the Balcony and Roof.

Detail of lamp on spiral staircase

Flying the flag and looking out to a "calm " sea.

Nice chocolate the wife bought me, bless.

Front Staircase

View out to Sea after yet another shower, with the Colonnade and the red, no bathing flag.

Bird for Trev. (nearly the size of a small dog)

The sea was getting a bit rough  and very windy.

We then went up Galley Hill on the west side of Bexhill to the Coastguard Station and viewing point.
Looking towards Hastings.

We could have stayed there for ages but the clouds were brewing and we made our way home for dinner in Maidstone through loads of rain.

Thanks for dropping by.

nite nite, luv Mike XX

  1. I have seen this place on the BBC South-east News, they showed the coach being lifted up and placed there.

I like the Gull and you got a good shot of it. The sea rough is good as it shows movement. Well done!
