New Life at Capstone

Hi folks,

well , after a couple of Daisy days it's time to get back to nature. Down at the local park things are starting to happen......

The Geese as starting to show off.

before heading back to the island.....

in the middle of the lake.

Coot and it's young, they have now lost their flaming head colour and now starting to resemble their mother.

In the small pond at the rear Moorhens were  having a fight, you stay to the right and I will stay to the left.

Get out of my part of the pond, this was why.......

Come on mum lead the way we want to join in the punch up.

Is it safe? these thing are really weird and a pain to get in focus as the were a long way away and mostly black. They had funny heads a bit like Coots and you can just see the read beak starting to form.

Not the nicest of creatures but eventually the will grow into lovely Moorehens, a bit like Ugly Ducklings.
