continuing my walk along the south side of the Thames, you must remember this shot. Taken from a different angle. The nice lady sitting on the wheel has long gone home.
Here is a little bit more about the sculpture, his name is Eduardo Paolozzi well you would not think he is Scottish? no I thought he was Italian but his descendants were Italian.
The Head of Invention, well that's what it is called is Bronze with Mechanical Machinery at the rear!!
and quotes from Leonardo da Vinci on the side, is this quirky or what! He finished this piece in 1989. It is Bronze and it's a wonder it's still there.
Pomegranate by the old dock which being sliced in two showed the seeds. These were imported for medicinal purposes.
This walk takes you into Southwark along the river path.
Flower shop on route with a grand display of flowers.
Southwark with the Shard poking it's peak above the narrow tall buildings.
Then I found it, I think it's a famous Banksy, note the angelic little boy fishing a syringe out of a bucket.
As I walked further I went through this small door to reveal.......................???
See you tomorrow to show what's around the corner.
Thanks for looking.
nite nite, luv Mike XX
