there is a lot going on in my life at the moment which is a good thing, the trouble is something has to give and yesterday was the blog. Still onwards and upwards.
Monday, see this is how far behind I am we had an unexpected treat, another go on the Edith May with John and Ann.
Here she is coming into the jetty at Chatham Marina with her new Pendants flying.
We soon got underway with our skipper Geoff at the helm.
Ed his son them climbed the mast to drop the sail.
He offered to take my camera up and get some unique shots of the boat from aloft but he unwittingly knocked the controls after a couple of shots which made the rest. unusable. But he got a couple before the problem.
And Rochester Castle between the cranes. Still at least he tried.
Up past the Gannet, not taken a picture of her from this angle before.
Past the Kingswear Castle, not raining yet Charles but looking threatening.
Just before we turned to put up more sail for our return journey down the Medway. All the famous sights, Medway Hospitals Cigarette chimney, the War Memorial, the Pentagon and the famous Chatham Town Hall. Oh and the pumping station in the foreground to stop the Brook flooding.
The famous Command House Pub.
Time to raise more sail for out last leg home.
As we sailed back to the jetty, the rain started, just by the Kingswear Castle I might add and we had to shelted below desk for the remained of the trip.
A good time was had by the eight on board.
Thanks for looking.
