Godinton, the Final Chapter

Hi folks,

here is the concluding part of this fine house and gardens, sadly all the sculptures have now been removed and sold so I only have the images to keep. The upside is that next year it starts all over again with a new selection so watch this blog.

Our next part of the tour is into the Nursery Garden with this stunning bronze of Winston Churchhill on the wall.

Path leading up to Nursery

A lot of thought was obviously put into the positioning of the art pieces to show then at their best.

This is the real thing, a Jerusalem Artichoke

Back to the sculptures in the wild area.

Entrance to the formal garden.

Fountain with unusual pond.

Lilly on the pond in the nursery garden.

I thought this was ten green bottles but I can only count nine, mind you it's not a wall.

Finally, the lady in the lake.

I have included the website if any of you would like to take a look.

I hope these bought a little extra pleasure into your day, thanks for dropping by.

nite nite, luv Mike XX
