Hi folks,
as the title suggests, we did the opposite to most people and spent a lovely day in Leysdown and had a lovely relaxing day in the sunshine whilst the rest of the world went shopping.
Here we are enjoying the sun on a deserted beach and at one point the internal thermometer reached 21c. Then had a walk into the town and had a nice packed lunch as I have yet to buy a gas bottle. We talked about the vans, Adrianne, (on the right) introduced us to these vehicles a couple of weeks ago and we both fell in love with it and had to have one of our own and called it Winnie.
This is Bob 12 year old who would not let you have his ball, he says hello to Daisy and Holly.
Ah Birds, now let me see, just getting the book off the shelf and blowing the dust off. Three Turnstones and I am not sure of the white ones, could be a Plover but may be wrong.
This little chap a Turnstone I think was all on this own.
I know this one, a Gull slowly running out of post as the tide came in. " shall I hop onto the next one"?
We waited till 3-30pm before coming home all feeling a bit sleepy, must have been the sea air. and comparing notes on our vans
Thanks for looking.
nite nite, Luv Mike XX
