Today we enter this fascinating building with a wonderful ceiling.
St Wilfrid's chapel with it's gold in front of the window.
The ceiling was magnificent, I changed lenses to accommodate it's massive size.
Each panel had an individual stars.
They are more visible in this shot via the mirror.
Ceiling bosses in the Chancel roof.
Lectern and choir stalls made of black oak.
Black oak cross carved in the end of the Choir stalls.
Southern Aisle
Amnesty International Candle.
Gilt canopy over the High Altar.
Banner of the Cathedral closes part one of the visit. Thanks for looking, Mike
