sorry for the break but we have had a very full week travelling and enjoying the English countryside. What with the reluctant internet signal I decided to continue the blog travels once we returned home.
What greeted us as we arrived at the castle.
Although the castle was very knocked about the weather had taken its toll.
Looking out over the countryside which was once flooded adding to the defenses.
From the castle you could see the wonderful garden and the Aviary behind.
Beautiful Pagoda above the garden.
Closeup of the ornate dancing bear to the right..
The flowers in the garden were stunning as was the gardens layout.
Garden with the castle ruins in the background.
Final look at the castle from another angle as we left.
Hope you enjoyed an extended blog, thanks for looking. Luv Mike.
I want to go there Mike but I was at Hall Place last Sunday.
