Just a few more of the inside of the Castle taken handheld with no flash. Sorry for the lack of information about the images as we were called away unexpectedly.
Picture painted in 1947 by Drian of Lady Baillie and her two daughters Susan and Pauline. This picture shows the moat in the background
Study looking out over the moat. This image was bracketed from the best of seven shots at different light settings. The image below shows the view with a camera against a paintbrush.
This image of the shadows from the light appealed to me.
Dining room
Library
Entrance hall.
So pleased I caught Daisy by the window.
Final view in the mist as we left to take Daisy back to her father.
Thanks for dropping by, this concludes the interior but I will have to go back and take the Bathroom as I was called away before I could finish. I must say it a delight it was to go into such a magnificent building and be allowed to photograph as you wish, thumbs up to Leeds Castle.
Best regards, Mike
Fabulous Mike....I can just see me there in the library, peacefully stitching away at a tapestry for one of the castle walls ! So love the atmosphere......What did Daisy make of the castle ?
