Trip to Capstone Park

Hi folks,

Yesterday I took a trip to this park again as it is close by and I could get home if I was tired being on my own, the wife went on a shopping trip with her friend.

Fitted my 300 mm lens on to get the Heron on the island, you can just see him on the left in the image above.

These White Fronted Geese, leaving the island, they are a winter visitors.

Our friend the heron again, always at the park come rain of shine.

He decided to have a shake after a dip spraying water everywhere.

The Mallards are getting their colour back ready for breeding.

The scene would not be complete without a Coot

and of course a Moorhen.

Thanks for looking.

Best regards, Mike
