Sunday arrived and we packed Winnie and headed towards Faversham and Brogdale Farm for the Kent Kite Flyers AGM and a fly on the field. What a spectacular day and after the auction lots of the club members flew the newly acquired kites and some they already had.
Gareth's KAP rig with live video feed below the main camera to the ground. Kap means Kite Ariel Photography allowing shots of the ground to be taken in the air from a kite.
Sit back and see the colours in the sky by some of the members kites taken by me from the ground.
Hope you enjoyed the show, thanks for looking.
Luv, Mike
What he didn't tell you was that Gareth having taken down his "flying" camera found he only had still pictures as the video card was still in his case!!! The device worked really well (apart from the video of course) and he was pleased that the battery did a wonderful job of keeping going. It was a lovely bright day full of lovely bright kites and lots of friends we hadn't seen in a while. .
ReplyDeleteSue that's mean telling everyone about Gareth's little error, nearly as mean as us all asking him how Wales where doing in the Rugby!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Mike perfect sky for it shame it took me so long to get the Circoflex put together it did fly and look great in the air, next time may be.

ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely day, but the wind was a bit strong and playful, which meant getting the camera steady was an issue.
