I have had nice couple of nights at a very successful special club meeting held in Maidstone with Trev and had over 1100 visitors in the two evenings.
The Mid Kent Astronomical Society hold two meetings a month in Bredhurst, Kent
Went with a bit of trepidation at first but I must say by the second night I was hooked and enjoyed the friendlessness of the club members and also the lectures which I found very interesting.
The club is giving more demonstrations and showing equipment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this coming week at the Dockside in Chatham in the evening. I will be going on Wednesday with Trev.
As you know if you followed the blogs we had a bit of trouble with to Gulls trapped with fishing line in a tree where we were taking pictures, this shook me up a bit and I only got a couple of shots so here goes.
Will try to do better next time as the light was fading fast.
Going back to the Edith May today to sort out the booking for my May trip out on it.
