Just to finish off our trip to Leeds Castle. I think that spring is not far off, whilst watching the ducks there was a big commotion on the lake, three Mallards decided to get into a punch up. They obviously fancied the same girl so off they went.
I think this one thought, "I'm going to keep well out of this"
As we were about to leave I noticed the ice at the edge of the bank had started to thaw so maybe that's the end of our winter, let's hope so.

Lovely pictures Mike ... Beautiful colours on those Mallards. You can tell spring is starting to 'spring out' The light is changing and there is a new, fresh smell in the air! O! maybe Trev has changed his socks ! lol lol ll :)

ReplyDeleteWell done on the fight Mike, it came out well. It is a pity that we did not get a picture of the when the one holding on to the other neck pushed him under water. It was a good scrap.
All three have him holding his neck, sorry none under water. Still never mind.
