Well being Tuesday it was our time with Daisy again. Margaret's family thought it would be a good idea to go to Minnis Bay near Birchington on the coast as it was going to be a nice day.

We were going to take a picnic so Daisy set about washing some grapes to take and she did very well for a 3 year old.
We had to take 2 cars as there was 7 of us and met up on the seafront, there was a park with lot's of climbing frames so Daisy was in her element and tired us out watching her climbing and running about.
Off to the beach we went and were all set up to enjoy the day with Margaret's family. After about an hour the tide turned and in came the water, after about an hour we all, that's about 300 people left the beach for dry land on the Prom, bit of a shame really.
Daisy did manage to get into her cossy before the water spoiled it and had a great time.
Well it was about 1pm and they all decided to have Fish and Chips. We set off up the road thinking that there is bound to be one by the sea. No, after walking for some time we nearly arrived back in Birchington were we found a shop and eat, we were all starving by this time as it was about 2.20pm. By the time we had eaten it was time to treck back to the beach so we cheated and got the bus. Ho ain't I glad we got a bus pass.
Back to the front Daisy made a bee line for the climbing frames with her friend Maddy and spent the rest of the day in the park as the tide was still in on the seafront. I was quite surprised how far the sea came in.
There is a something to learn here, always check the tide tables before you go to Minnis Bay.
Needless to say Daisy is now sound asleep in bed after a very energetic day.
