Today was my trip to Guys to see if I still have a Brain, no seriously it was to check on my Sinus.
Well quite an eventful day out flattening my mobile phone battery in the process. On the train from Chatham for my journey westwards into the smoke talking to various people on Facebook on the way up there. My Niece told me to look out for dirty disgusting people picking their noses which gave me something to look out for on my journey.
I arrived at London Bridge and on leaving the station I was greeted with this amazing poster depicting the Jubilee Royal Barge on the Thames, shame about the CCTV cameras.
It took me a few minutes to get this without people walking across, I should have got a close up but maybe next time.
Well onwards and upwards, over to the hospital for my appointment. This done it was time for lunch in the Bunch of Grapes. Steak and Ale pie was the order of the day, very nice it was too.
Guess what camera this was taken with?
Well as it was still very misty I had a go at the Shard which you can't miss at it is built over the Station.
A view from street level looking towards the crane perched on the side disappearing into the clouds.
Well as it was misty and damp I headed for home chatting to my Facebook friends on the way and looking for people picking their noses. I was able to report to my Niece that I didn't see any.
Sue picked me up from the station and I arrived home exhausted.
Thanks for looking.
nite nite, luv Mike XX
