Richborough before and after

Hi folks,

just trolling through my images of the Power station that is no more after the big bang last Sunday and thought you might like these three shots.

This was the scene before the big bang and as close as I could get due to the fence.

Now you don't, with a bit of thought I could have got them in the same position but I'm not far off.

Lastly a close up of the bases that will be pulled down with machines. We were surprised at the lack of dust about considering the actual shots last Sunday when they came down.

Short and sweet tonight as is has been Mothers day and our son has been up to see us, leaving Daisy with her Mum (Sob, Sob). Never mind it will soon be TUESDAY.

Thanks for looking.

nite nite, luv Mike XX

  1. Sad to see that it's gone but I am glad that I got up super early to witness it even if only from afar. Having seen the fall we found it more difficult to return to where it had been, previously you just descended upon it.

  2. From a distance you would not know that they had ever been there. The landscape has gone for ever, pity.

BTW Mike, I now have your pictures too dark so I will need to turn to the monitor up. I will use yours as a guide.
