Walk down by the River

Hi folks,

well after a good nights sleep and a rather long lay in we had lunch and decided to do the river walk from Allington to Maidstone, I have done this before in the winter so we thought we would give it another go.

After parking the car we found our way down a path to the river.

Well this cheered me up as we were greeted by this as we approached the bank, even got a smile.

What a beautiful day with the sun shimmering across the boats.

First of the many pleasure boats coming back up the river from Maidstone.

This Whitebeam was really blowing in the wind stripping the blossom.

We are going to do one of these trips soon, hope the weather is as nice.

Think the paddle wheel is a bit over the top.

The sun lit up the leaves

Original Barge with solar panels, different, not many of them on the rivers in the south east..

The light on this tree and it being engulfed with Ivy caught my attention,

We then crossed the bridge to go into Watman park.

Looking up the river towards Allington.

A few more of the park and the walk back in tomorrows blog.

Hope you enjoyed the sun with me, thanks for dropping by.

nite nite, luv Mike XX
