Unexpected Classic Car Museum

Hi folks,

Well back on the road again we headed south towards Naples which is about as far as we wanted to go. We booked into the same hotel as we did last year with Tony and Gloria, all that had changed is that the gift shop which had closed.

On the way down we stopped at a Classic Car museum with hundreds of  beautiful cars.

A quick glimpse inside and you will see what I mean, just look at them.

The museum was mainly Corvettes Camaros, Chevelles, Impalas and antique cars and trucks.
This one amused us as he stood there with his teeth chattering.

They went on and on rows of them.

Due to the florescent lighting I only had time to process a few, and the internet here in Fort Lauderdale keeps dropping in and out so I will have to end it here. I will try to put up a batch once I am home.

Lastly our last sunset on the Gulf coast as we are now on the East Atlantic side so it will have to be sunrises from now on

As I type this the rain is pouring down and the wind is blowing, we have even turned off the air conditioning, so will have to end it now, thanks for looking.

Hope it will be a better day tomorrow.

nite, nite, Luv Mike and Sue. XX

  1. Fast and loud build these on the Discovery chn, worth watching.

    Great shots Mike

  2. Another interesting post from you Mike with fabulous pictures .. Its hissing down here as well as I write this ... Just watching first practice on Sky of the F1 Indian Grand Prix.... the cars are a bit younger but your pictures show real class! Wonder how much it costs to insure that place!

    Eileen xx

  3. Hi Eileen, not good here in the "Sunshine" state either. We have just had a bad storm pass us in the Atlantic causing high winds and loads of rain. We are on the 1st floor and the bedroom carpet is wet by the entrance door.

That car place will have a 24 hour guard and someone checking it all the time.

    Enjoy the GP. XX

  4. I left a comment this morning but alas it has disappeared !
Anyway , Dave said he would have a field day with all those
classic cars !! They are wonderful........
All the best to you both ....

Yes the cars were nice but I had trouble with the internet will post some more when we get home.
Well what a day, just like home, rain, rain and even more rain, still it meant we had to stay put in Deerpark near Fort Lauderdale but went to a "Flea Market", it was huge all undercover so we could spend some time with retail therapy.
Big push up the coast tomorrow before our last three night stop in St Augustine and meet up with out Facebook friend James. xxx
